Will joined PPL as analyst, having completed a PhD in History.  Will draws upon his analytical, research, and communication skills to address current challenges in the health and care sector, with a focus on delivering meaningful change for local communities.

Since joining PPL, Will has worked on delivering place-based Transfer of Care Hubs, including business case development and project management.  He has worked with a country council to transform housing options across the community, a project designed to address and alleviate the growing problem of homelessness and precarious living in the area. Will has also supported a leading emergency care provider to create a more integrated, collaborative and multi-disciplinary service in conjunction with other local health providers, as part of our wider organisational development practice.

Will’s academic research focused on public politics and political communication in seventeenth-century Europe, with a particular focus on the impact of information and disinformation in shaping popular opinion and public policy.  His PhD was fully-funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council and he has received a number of fellowships in support of his work from institutions in the UK and the U.S.  He has also published in leading academic journals and presented his work at international conferences. He also worked as an Associate Tutor, teaching on a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate course whilst also delivering writing support and guidance to his students.

Will holds a PhD and MA with Distinction from the University of East Anglia and was awarded a BA with First Class Honours from University College London.
