Emily is a Senior Consultant at PPL with extensive experience in the health and care sector, having previously worked in numerous NHS roles.
Emily is skilled in co-designing solutions with multidisciplinary teams that focus on outcomes for people within communities. She has experience translating strategic objectives into operational plans and delivering objectives through challenging operational contexts.
Prior to joining PPL, Emily has held several NHS Management positions such as Theatre General Manager, PHM Programme Manager and Locality Development Manager.
When working in Population Health Management, Emily co-designed and delivered a virtual development programme to local Primary Care Networks. She supported the teams to use population analytics in their Covid-19 response to provide services designed for their local area.
Across her roles in the NHS Emily has a track record for delivering both small and large scale change while building and sustaining credibility with a diverse range of groups, including administrative, clinical and executive teams. She has worked directly with integrated locality teams to develop cross-organisational relationships and deliver a combined strategy for the local services in response to the NHS Long Term Plan.
Emily is passionate about leadership development and is an Action Learning Set Facilitator for current NHS Graduate Management Trainees.
She has a Masters in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Birmingham and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol.
